Cheer Competition

Victoria's first cheer Champion Ship was today. She had such a blast. We got up at 4:15am and drove up to Richmond, VA. Victoria, Daddy, Mamaw, Momma and Ms. Casey. We got there around 7 and had breakfast at Denny's. Which Victoria refers to as Benny's. Then it was off to the convention center. When we walked in I thought....there is no way that kid is gonna go up on that big stage in front of all those people. But she was in aww and loved watching all the older girls teams up there cheering. Her team is called the kittens. She Cheers for VA Wild and all the teams are named after animals of some sort. I can't belive how high some of those girls are thrown into the air. Man O Man is this a fun sport. I wish I would have done it as child. Anyway....Victoria was in the part of competion called the mini's. These are 3 and 4 year olds who really just compete for fun. So we dropped her off to her coach around 10am and off she went with 6 other little ones. When they came out the crowd went crazy. The kittens lined up and started their routine. The coaches had to come out to help a bit because the overwhelming lights and people sort of caused the kittens to forget but it was the cutest thing ever!
