Emilio is Here

Emilio Jesus Meza
April 14th 2010
8.8oz 21 inches long
My water broke at 7:00am and Emilio came into the world at 10:35am. These pictures are the first time I held him and the first time Victoria got to hold him. He was in the NICU for the first 2 days as his blood sugars were low. Vic went in to feed him every 3 hours.

Easter Performance

Victoria had an Easter Performance at school where all the children worshiped Jesus. They sang songs and did hand motions. The read poems and danced. It was such an emotional experience for us as Victoria "stole" the show. She loves to worship and she sang the loudest and did the biggest motions. She even helped the other children with their lines. All the mothers were coming up to us at the end telling us she is going to be famous one day. She tells me that she wants to be a singer on KLove. It was a very proud parent moment for us. We love her and are so grateful for what an awesome child she is.

Saturday

Today is Saturday. We had a mini egg hunt at our house just for Vic and Victoria. Victoria made us baskets and hid eggs for us. She was so excited to do this on her own. We had also hid eggs for her. One of them had tickets to Nickelodean live. She was very excited to go.

Vic has duty tomorrow on Easter so we wanted to do something special. Vic also taught Victoria how to ride her bike without training wheels. Its going ok. Victoria still isn't very confident and we had to put the wheels back on. It was fun trying to though!

Egg Decorating 2010

Victoria had her Easter Egg Hunt in the main sancturary at school since it was storming outside. The kids loved it. They made their Easter baskets to collect the eggs in.

Emilio's room

Vic worked so hard on Emilio's room. He did such a great job painting it different colors. He and I picked out the nursery design together. He picked out the furniture. Thank you to Uncle Roger for purchasing the crib. This is the grow with me furniture. We had the same for Victoria and just loved it. We are so excited for Emilio to actually be here so he can actually use his room!

Vic putting together the pack in play which will be down stairs for the first couple of months.

Victoria helping me to put the clothes away. She is really being a great big sister already. She is very involved in everything that is going on. She keeps asking when is his birth?

Victor painted these letters brown and I attemped to hang the ribbon. Vic had to do some modifications to get it to hang.

I love my little girl!

Look at that belly....if only Emilio knew what was going on for him right now. Even Lollie getting in on the mix.

The Womens conference at church just keeps getting better and better every year. This year it was 3 full days of speakers, food, fun, gifts and laughs. Lisa Bevere, Charlotte Gambill, Sy Rodgers and of course our very own Sharon Kelly. Here are a few pics we took from the conference this year. I didn't get to do the hotel with the girls since I am about ready to pop. But I still had a great time. Love ya girls!

The Best Baby Shower

Thank you Kay and Michelle for the Best Baby Shower ever. It was amazing. I had about 20 girl friends there and was just spoiled with some amazing gifts. It was so weird this time to get blue and trucks. So fun!!! They really went all out from a waffle table to a mimosa bar. I felt so special and blessed.

valentines day 2010

We had a really fun Valentines Day. Vic sent flowers to me at the house. Then when Victoria got home from school there was a knock on the door with flowers for her from Daddy. She was so excited. Vic took us all out to eat at Texas Roadhouse after church. Then we all got gifts. He got mom her favorite....seas candy. I got a spa package and Victoria got games for her DS. We got daddy a new tempurpedic pillow. It was a nice relaxing day!

7 months Prego (29 weeks)

Look at that belly! Things are going well. We are anxiously awaiting the babies arrival. Wonder what he will look like? Today was my last day at work and I am excited to be a Stay At Home Mommy again. I enjoyed my time with Victoria and look forward to my time with this baby too. Victoria is very excited. My shower is next weekend and she can't wait to go too. She got a new dress and shoes for the occasion. We have another doctor appointment this week. They are weekly now since I am "high risk". We will have another "big" ulta sound when I am 31 weeks to see how big the baby is. Vic can't wait. His new thing....putting a lazer light on my belly and watching the baby kick and hit at it. We get alot of good laughs from that one.
