Shana's Birthday

Victoria went to her friend Shana's birthday party. The kids LOVE to jump on the big trampoline. Victoria was the smallest one there. They kept putting her in the middle and bouncing her all around. She was having a blast. The adults made all the kids sit and give Victoria a turn jumping. All the kids watched (for maybe 10 seconds) while Victoria took a turn. She wouldn't stop laughing. Look at the hair.....
Our Little Builder
Lets Jump

Daddy and Victoria had the best time at Kangaroo Jacs. They climbed the 20ft bouncers all the way to the top and slid down the slides. Daddy was proud of what a good climber Victoria was. She got tired a little sooner then anticipated but they climbed, jumped and played for a couple of hours. I chatted with the other moms and was busy taking pictures of the fun. Victoria has a terrific Daddy! We miss him already.Labels: Lets Jump
Happy Easter
Happy Easter. What a beautiful day it is here in Virginia Beach. Far from the blizzard we had yesterday. We went to services at our church which was held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. We just love our church and church family. Its such a big church but our circle of friends are just such a blessing. After church we went to a buffet brunch on the ocean front. We ate at a place called Angelo's By The Sea. The food was ok but it was nice being on the beach. It felt like vacation since being from AZ anytime you are on the beach feels like vacation. Soon after, we came home to see what the bunny brought for Victoria. She was just a bit spoiled this year and we enjoyed watching every minute of it! She was just overwhelmed with what to look at first. Victoria did a mini egg hunt and had fun outside coloring up the front path with her new chalk from the bunny.

Rec Center Fun
Every year at the Rec Center in Virginia Beach they put on a "breakfast with the Easter Bunny " function. Victoria loves to go to the Rec Center activitites as they are always jam packed with lots of playtime, art time and creative activitites. This time for a craft we made a bunny ear hat.

Then Victoria had her face painted like a bunny. It only lasted a few minutes as the make-up was getting in the way of her thumb sucking! But I snapped one or two pictures of the cute bunny face!
Next the Easter Bunny was spotted outside and it was off to an Easter egg hunt. Victoria had a fabulous time searching and finding the eggs then putting them in her basket. Much to her surprise......the eggs were filled with chocolate! Finally it was time for breakfast...The Bunny invited all the kids over to have french toast and sausage! What a fun time. It was an even better time because Mamaw was able to take the morning off of work and join in on the fun. Thanks Easter Bunny for the fun hunt, craft and breakfast.

First Trip to the Dentist

Victoria had her first dentist appt today. We prepared her a little by explaining who the dentist was and what he would do. Obviously the preparation worked as she did EXCELLENT. Praise the Lord! She sat right down in the chair and when the hygenist (Ms. Donna) asked Victoria to open her mouth...she did while saying "awww". Donna was so impressed at how calm and responsive Victoria was that she asked me if she could just go ahead and clean her teeth. Victoria laid back and relaxed as they counted her teeth, cleaned them and then gave
her floride that tasted like cherry. She earned herself a new toothbrush, toy rings, stickers and a balloon. She left the dentist office a happy girl and I left the dentist office so proud that I could wait to call Daddy on the phone to tell him what a good girl we have.

Easter Bunny
Victoria couldn't wait to go to "The Bunny's House" she called it as we waiting in line at Lynnhaven Mall today. She jumped up on the Easter Bunny's lap and started to pat his legs. She smiled big for the picture and asked me why he didn't talk. I told her that he ate carrots. Its the first thing I could think of....ha ha. It was fun watching her enjoy the bunny and getting so excited to see him.

Bunny Hut
Today Victoria I made a Bunny Hut to add a little Easter decor to our house. It was so fun putting on the icing and candy. I am pretty sure Victoria ate more then she decorated but either way....it was a good time. Victoria helped mix the icing but let me put it on the hut. She did though put all of the candy on the hut by herself with just a little encouragement as to "where" the candy should go. We are proud of how it turned out. Now we are really ready for Easter!
