New Years Eve 2009

New Years Eve was very chill for us this year. It was freezing outside and I have trouble staying up past 9pm anymore. We were invited to some friends house but decided to stay in this year and just be lazy at home. Being 6 mths prego takes alot out of you. We played games and at lots of different appetizers. Vic played his PS3 and Victoria, Mamaw and I played Uno and Jenga. At 10 we started watching the festivities. At midnight the pots and pans came out for about 2 minutes and then it was off to bed. Victoria and I couldn't hang anymore! Happy 2010!

WCLC Fundraiser

Every year I am in charge of the fundraiser at WCLC. Each teacher collects items from parents in their classrooms. Then I collect all the items and make baskets to auction off at the Christmas performance. Mom helps me make the baskets at home and then we tote them back to the school. We do a silent auction and this year we raised over $1500 for the school. Its very exciting!

Playing School

So this is what happens when you go out to the laundry room and leave the 5 year old alone.....All the pillows came off the couches and became highchairs for all of Victoria's students. I love little moments like this....she is playing school!

Victoria's Christmas Performance Solo

This is Victoria's first Christmas performance where she got to sing a solo. She did a great job! We couldn't see her but we sure could hear her. Her teachers did a great job with the children as the performance as a whole was very good. All the children sang all the songs. There was no playing or running around on stage. None of the songs were traditional and all were very biblical. Some of the songs had some "big words" and even sign language. We were dissapointed in Victoria's place on stage. She was dressed as an angel but you couldn't see her because she placed directly behind this tall boy. I was pretty upset. Victor went up high to try and get some pictures but you still can't see much. Maybe next year????

Beauty Queen

I took Victoria to get her hair cut today. Its been a year! She has such gorgeous curly long hair that I just really neglected to think that I needed to have it cut until Vic suggested that it be done. So off we went to the salon where I get my hair done. Victoria thought it was really exciting to have her hair washed in the hair sink. It was the first time they had done that and she said "wow, this feels so good. How come I have never gotten to do this before" Of course she was too little before. After her hair was cut they blow dryed her hair in the perm dryer and she thought that was the neatest thing ever!

Toothless #2

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth.......

Rock Climbing

Vic goes rock climbing on Thursdays with some of his buddies. Victoria has expressed interest in giving it a try so today we went and meant up with daddy for Victoria to give it a whirl. She did a great job. I was surprised at how high she had climbed.
