So we thought we were doing a great job decorating these pumpkins! Mamaws turned out the best by doing it the old fashioned way....Vic and I got all fancy and used a dremel and the darn candles barely showed up! It was fun trying but next year I'm sticking with the good ole knife!

We went north about 3.5 hours to Crabtree Falls. The Woods family goes every year to the Graveyard apple orchard for their fall festival. So they invited us this year. We were so happy they did. The festival was complete with homemade Brunswick stew, apple donuts, apple butter and all kinds of homemade candy. The kids got to go on a hayride, climb staw barrels and pick apples. There were all kinds of booths of people selling crafts and I had fun making a few x-mas purchases. After that we went to Flippin Seemans to pick out own pumpkins off the vine. This was a very unique experience. We were so excited to get to actually pick our own grown pumpkins. We went into the apple factory and got to taste all the apples and see them being sorted. Next stop was Crabtree Falls. It was such a beautiful waterfall. One of the prettiest east of the Mississippi! Vic climbed 3 miles to the top of course!

Holiday Travel Park in Virginia Beach put on a Harvest Weekend everyweekend in the month of Oct. Its a blast. Everyone decorates their campsite. The kids trick or treat, have candy by flashlight hunts, a live DJ for dancing, hayrides, corn maze and a haunted house! Our campsite had 17 adults and 4 kids. Victoria was up until midnight everynight and had more junk food then she has had her whole life. It was a great weekend! It only took an hour to fill Walmart bag full of candy. She rode her bike, took turns on the golf cart, has smores by campfire and went in and out of our friends camper. We can't wait to do it again!
