Womens Conference Devoted

Pastor Sharon at Wave Church really out did herself this year. She held her annual Womens Conference at our new convention center. Its 2 nights and 2 days of sermons, worship, girl gab, treats, massages, dancing and much more. Christine Caine and Helen Burns were the special guests speakers and they were amazing. During sessions I got to hang out with all my girl friends. We had a hotel room at the ocean front and just made a weekend out of it. I don't think I have meant such a group of crazy fun girls as these Christian girlfriends of mine. ha ha...I think we only got about 4 hours of sleep all weekend. Which may have had something to do with me falling backwards down 7 stairs in our sancturary on Saturday morning. I felt like such a goof! Then was proceeded to be called up on stage for a contest which I lost. They asked for volunteers and I knew the minute I raised my hand I was going to make a fool of myself. Which I did in front of 5,000 women. But I won a gift certificate to get my hair done at a local hair saloon so it paid off. I think this weekend alone I lost my camera, bible, car, waterbottle, seat and money. All was eventually found but I chalk it up to A GOOD TIME! All of which are a funny story but will have to save that for another time. But I found new relationships, trust, love, peace, hope and DEVOTION! Thank you Jesus!

Funky Dog

There is always something funny or crazy going on in the Meza House! Lolli is back to normal! No more silly haircuts.....but...isn't there always a but? We enjoy dressing her up or doing something funky to her. Isn't that what you do to small dogs? Vic thought it was funny that balloons stick to her. She didn't think it was funny but we sure had a great laugh!

Thirty something

Happy Birthday to Emily! Am I really 32? Yes...however....all last year I already thought I was 32. Until we were at some friends house a couple of months ago and was informed I was really only 31. Vic and our friend Josh had the worst time convincing me that I was 31. You would think being that I do accounting I could figure this out....maybe if it weren't for so many glasses of wine? So this year....yes...I am 32 AGAIN!

I had a fun birthday. I was spoiled with some amazing gifts, a cake mamaw and Victoria made, dinner out and 2 movies! Thanks to my friends and family who made me feel really special. I enjoyed all the cards, texts, gifts and well wishes. I love you!

My "real" birthday celebration will be spent in Washington DC at the Britney Spears concert. Vic got me the tickets for my birthday. We will be going March 24th and 25th. I am soooo excited. I got first section row J! You can bet those pictures will be on here soon as well.

Dora Live

Dooh...Dooh...Dooh...Dooh....DoDora.....Swiper No Swiping.....Swiper No Swiping....Awww Man!

Dora Live....Too Fun! Victoria and I got to go to Dora live with our Besty's Karen and Sophia! Mom's and Kiddo 's had a great time. Dora had a fun adventure and Diego even showed up! We had terrific, close seats. There was alot of audience participation and we even ran into some friends from Victoria's school.

Times Like These

So we have this note book that we have been writting down all the special moments and things that Victoria says and does thru out the years! Everyday with her is a blessing and so enjoyable. There are just times when we sit back and can't believe how re-markable she is. Today when I came into the "fun room" Victoria had set up a classroom. She is very into pre-tend play right now. EVERYthing is...pre-tend this or pre-tend that! I don't get to take pictures of everything but this was just too cute to resist.....also...check out the light bug she is eating! Crazy Candy she got from Mamaw. What a funny little girl! Brings a smile to all our faces!

Valentines Day 2009

LOVE DAY....We started the day out at Vic's race. Then it was home to exchange gifts. Daddy had some spoiling to do for his girls and he just couldn't wait any longer. Victoria got new jammies and shoes from the Disney Store. (Vic sure is a good shopper) Mamaw got a heart box of Sugar Free See's Candy and I was SPOLIED with BLING! Vic got me a beautiful ruby and diamond ring! Victoria also got a Biblegirl outfit from her mamaw! We spent the rest of the day eatting all the Mrs. Fields goodies from the gift basket that Uncle Roger sent us! That evening we went out for a dinner and wine tasting at Fire and Vine. I couldn't believe we sat there eating and drinking for all night! It was a romantic and fun time for Vic and I. Vic was in rare form making me laugh all night. It's so nice to have those times!

Virginia Is For Lovers

I bought Vic a run for Valentines day. I figured he would enjoy a 14k a bit more then chocolate and balloons! I was right. He did. So Valentines Day morning we loaded up to go watch Daddy run. This was a small 14k and Vic finished it in 1.10 It was a really cold morning. But Victoria and I were out there with the Cow Bell cheering him on. Way To Go Vic!
