Victoria Dance

Victoria has started to take Dance again. Every year we let her take 2 extra curricular activites a semester. This fall she choose to take Dance and cheer. Well at this dance class it is a 1/2 hour of tap and 1/2 of ballet. Its located in Chesapeake about 20 minutes away but we go there so she can take class with her best friend often referred to as "sister Sophie". I tried to get a few pictures of the girls in action. However there are no observation windows because it serves as a distraction for the children. Understandable right????

First Day of Pre-K

Victoria started Pre-K. She was so excited to go into the "Big Girl" class. Her teachers names are Michelle and Kay and we are so excited that she has them this year. They are fabulous teachers who really love their students and their jobs. Victoria will go three days a week. She will have praise and worship everyday and chapel on Mondays. She will go to computer class on Wednesdays which she loves as well. This will be her 2nd year for computers so we can't wait to see how much more she learns. This year she should learn to write all her letters and some of the students even leave Pre-K already reading. Her teachers already emailed me a few pictures of her playing over the last couple of days.....enjoy!

Karen's Birthday

Today we went to PF Changs to celebrate Karen's birthday. I am so glad that I still have an old good friend from back home that I get to hang out with her in VA. Its such a weird story how we both ended up here in VA and both with girls 2 days apart. We were realizing today that we have known each other for 18 years. Crazy! Her mom was in town and so was my uncle so we made it sort of a family dinner.

Uncle Is Here

Uncle Roger came to town for a visit. We try to see each other at least 3 times a year. This time he came for a long weekend over labor day to see the new house. We had a nice time. Uncle really liked the house and enjoyed playing with Lolli. He loves little white dogs. We went to a house in Sandbridge while he was here and went swimming. We ate out a really good fish restaurant in Pungo, went to the Rock N Roll Marathon and took in a couple movies. Its pretty low key when he visits but we always find something fun to do. Thanks for coming Uncle...We love you!
